This week’s cards are a bit difficult–the Unnameable One, the Page of Earth, and the King of Fire Reversed. I may need to step out of personna as a character and actually look at them as an author: . The first and third cards combined imply being fettered by dogma, or oppressed by authority. But the second card, the Page of Earth, is the one I have always associated with the elf character, Lee–hence my third-wall breaking. Is Lee in some sort of danger? Well, I am currently editing Book Four, when Lee is in no more peril than any elf, though definitely oppessed by the rulers of Belerin. I’ve also begin a draft of Book Five, though, and, well . . . maybe I’d better just finish that draft.
