Eight of Cups, Reversed; the Fool, Reversed; The Three of Rods
The Eight of Cups signifies abandoning an endeavor before completion. Here we see in in reversed position, indicating it isn’t time to give up yet. The Fool returns again this week, in reversed position. This warns against inertia and apathy, rather than the Fool’s usual warning against running off unprepared. Finally, we see our one upright card for the week, the Three of Rods. Here we see a person waiting for “their ships to come in”; this card indicates success in business and other endeavors. So don’t give up. Don’t quit, and don’t lose enthusiasm. Keep working, a little at a time if that’s all you can manage, and you will reach your goal.
FWIW, I took this picture at nine in the morning, and it’s ridiculously dark because it was raining like crazy outside. It’s hurricane season. Stay safe and look out for each other.
